I was going to say it’s easy as pie, but if you’ve ever tried to bake a pie, it’s not necessarily easy. Whoever thought that expression up clearly did not take into account the lack of pastry skill that most of us have. So, we’ll make subscribing and sharing easy first, and then make pie easy.

Easy pie

Ingredients:

1 ready made, ready to serve pie shell
1 8 oz. container of Kool Whip
2 regular sized containers of fruit-containing yogurt

Mix the Kool Whip and yogurt together in a bowl. Scoop contents into a pie shell. Refrigerate for an hour. Serve.

See? Easy pie.

    Actually, I made Pocket Pies this summer- Get a can or jar of pie filling. (Extra points if you want to peel your own apples, peaches, etc.) Get premade pie crusts in the dairy section. Roll out the crust, cut into shapes with cookie cutters or pocket pie molds available from Williams-Sonoma. Seal about 1- 2 T pie filling in between two shapes and bake at 350 for about 30 minutes. Small pies, limited calories per indulgence, and worth it, as well. As still- as easy as pie.
